Dr. #BenCarson recently made a statement that "a #Muslim cannot be the President of the United States".
Not only is dr. Ben Carson statement #racist - it's #unconstitutional, anti-republican values, anti American values.
#America doesn't need another #president who doesn't abide by the Constitution, exclusively, in his or her decision making.
#God forbid someone stands up one day and says I can't run for president because - I'm #Jewish and #Judaism is different than what he or she perceives America as being.
The #Constitution is the only set of by laws we have protecting American values; may we never divert. For those who don't know, the Constitution reads as follows:
The No #Religious Test Clause of the United States Constitution is found in Article VI, paragraph 3, and states that:
"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State #Legislatures, and all executive and #judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or #Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a #qualification to any office or public trust under the United States."
